Well that could be it but the reason I wasnt thinking that was it was I thought they were still at the site following Juliet potentially detonating the core.

Thanks to Claudio for the heads up.
While Lost exec producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse confirm that death becomes her (“The decision to kill Juliet was absolutely brutal,” says Lindelof), they note that she’s scheduled to appear in multiple episodes this season (“There’s still something very significant that we have not yet learned about the character,” hints Cuse).
LINDELOF: “Juliet basically birthed season 6 by the actions that she takes in the final seconds of season 5. She is completely responsible for the end game of the show. So the character is going to be seen in a slightly different light this year. We gave her that action for a reason, and that’s because she’s so important to the fabric of the story.”
On later being asked to return in season 6:
MITCHELL: “The only thing I could think of was that she gets to beat the c-r-a-p out of Ben [laughs]…. I was like, ‘I think I’m going to be really busy. But I’m so in love with this character, it’s not like you have to twist my arm. So, thank you.’ It was just a complete rollercoaster of [emotions], though, because I had already said goodbye.”
On what we should expect when we see Juliet again:
MITCHELL: “It’s probably exactly what you expect, but because it’s Damon and Carlton, you know they’re just going to turn it on its ear.”

Rebecca Mader, who was prematurely killed off Lost last season, has agreed to reprise her role of anthropologist Charlotte Lewis after completing a string of back-to-back films—including “The Men Who Stare at Goats,” with George Clooney, and 2010’s “Ceremony,” with Uma Thurman. “I am beyond thrilled to be returning to Lost!” Mader e-mailed me. “Being a part of this show has been one of the greatest moments in my career thus far. I’m excited to see everyone!” Everyone, I assume, includes that polar bear skeleton Charlotte discovered in the Tunisian desert. (Please, let her return finally explain how that creature got there!)

I need to get a grasp of when these things are all happening...
They're starting to seem like flashbacks and flashforwards. Alternate reality, or not...
Because, unless it's a flashforward... Claire is giving birth way to early.
I know Notso and others have discussed "Schrodingers Cat" before. Is it possible that these different/alternate realities that seem to be being revealed in the spoiler section, could be a demonstration of the SC experiment ie all possible senarios are happening and the outcome is not known until the box is opened? This raises more questions than it answers of course (the first being, do I really have a proper understanding of SC - I can answer that before someone else does - and the answer is no!).
Some questions that I am asking myself in this scenario would be :
1) who is observing the experiment?
2) who or what determines when the box is opened?

Is this a really rubbish post?
On the one hand, I have always thought that we the audience, are the observers. We are the ones watching the recruits in the Pearl who are watching everyone esle in other hatches. But then you have to think that Jacob and nemesis must have someone observing them. Someone who wrote the rules that they must follow. Ultimatly, IMO, TPTB will end the story with enough vagueness that both the WHHer's and the TCCer's will both think they are right. And because there are alternate worlds, they both will be right.

I think the imlication of that refers to Ben being a professor, as mentioned in another spoiler. European history or something I think.

I watched that last night, and it really seemed like two little kids about to get caught doing something they shouldn't.
Until then, I always looked at it, like "they're coming" to get nemesis (help Jacob, whatever.)
I had always looked at it as the "they" were Jack, Sawyer, et al coming from 1977 for the upcoming war. That should be when the two timelines merge. But, if you think about it, every war has its generals...someone in charge. So, who will be leading this charge? That could be their observer then. Perhaps it is even smokie.

It's tough to tell, I expected the scenes in the Substitute to reveal whether or not Ben was a teacher. A few suggested in Darks forums that it was part of the end of the Economist, when Ben is in the veterinarian's operating room, treating Sayids wound.
And the man/men in charge (they're coming) could be the new characters, Dogen and Lennon...
